Stephen
was stoned. James was beheaded. Paul was whipped/beaten/imprisoned and
more before he was killed. In other times and places before us, Christians
have been spit on, beaten, tortured and abused in ways we can hardly even
contemplate. There are also times
in the lives of true Christians today, when we are cheated, persecuted,
abused, and spitefully used by those “of the world”. We
sometimes groan and ache inside for justice and/or revenge. The
good news brethren, is that there is a day coming, when we will not only
reap the reward for our patience, diligence, and steadfastness to the Truth;
but where all wrongs done to us will be righted. While
we are taught to strive only for the good of all (and should live accordingly);
we can take comfort in the knowledge that those that persist in
perpetuating evil WILL
HAVE THEIR DAY ALSO; and on that day they will bow down to Jesus the Christ
and will be rewarded
for their deeds in the “lake of fire prepared for the Devil and his
angels”. In
the meantime, God our Father will allow them to continue to mislead themselves,
even “sending them strong delusions” that they might feel quite
good about themselves. But be sure my brethren; our lives in the flesh
are just a speck in time compared to all eternity, and if faithful, we
will be rewarded for all eternity, while those who have worked “so hard”
to disrupt our faith will spend all eternity paying for their evil deeds.
We will then HAVE OUR JUSTICE! Yes
GOD IS LOVE, but HE is also a JUST GOD! Peace
to you, my brethren. Stay the course. -------------------------------------------------------------- Matthew
5: 44But
I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to
those who hate you, and pray
for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,
45that
you may be sons of your Father in heaven
