NOT EXPERTS

There was a man who worshipped in a fairly large congregation.  Because of
poverty and neglect, he learned basic reading and writing only after he married
a fine woman who taught him.
Raised in the backwoods by ignorant kin, his speech was very hicky and filled
with strange expressions.  People usually laughed at him whenever he spoke.
Yet without hesitation or embarrassment he would lead a public prayer whenever
called upon.
He would pray; --- "Lord God, we air shore much obliged t'yu.  You been a
sight better to us than we had a commin ---"
So earnestly, so adoringly, and so believingly that few eyes in attendance
would be dry when he almost in a whisper said;  "AMAN!"
    He spoke to one of the good brethren once and had this to say;
"What iffin men DO laugh and carry on??" --- "God ain't laffin !"
"He listens to your heart, NOT your MOUTH;--- Add my heart talks to Him
as plain as anybodys !!"

Yet because we are not EXPERTS in what is to be done in the Lord's kingdom,
---- I wonder why it is that so many don't even try ??

"--- That you may prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God
above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom
you appear as lights (bright as stars) in the world, (How?) holding fast the word of
life, so that in the day of Christ I may have cause to glory because I did not run in
vain nor toil in vain.   The apostle Paul; -- Phil. 2:15-16
