How Can Women Rob God
Today ?
Women can rob God today by not being totally
committed to the cause of Christ. We are to serve God with our whole heart.
We are to offer up our body as a living sacrifice. This means clean living,
serving Him with a pure heart fervently, lifting up holy hands.
We Can Rob Him of Praise
We can rob God by not studying
His word. We don’t allow the word of Christ to dwell in us richly. ( Col
3:16 ) We are weak spiritually. We are carnally minded and not spiritually
minded, (Rom 8 ) therefore we rob God of praise. We cannot praise God without
being full of the spirit. We cannot be full of the Spirit without His word
having been stored up in our heart. (Psa 119:11) His word is Spirit and
truth . ( Jn 6:63)
We Fail to Use Our Talents
We rob God by not using our talents
in His work. It is so sad , many of us are like the one talent man who
hid his talent in the ground and did not bring forth more talents and when
we face the Husbandman we will have nothing to offer, no souls to present
to Him.
Someday you’ll stand at the bar on high
Some day your record you’ll see
Some day you’ll answer the question
of life .
What will your answer be?
What have we done with our talents
?
We Rob God of Our Time
We spend our time so unwisely and
do not redeem it. God gave us each time to serve Him, Yet we choose the
vain things of life that perish. We should be laying up treasures in heaven.
Yet many of us are using our time to make friends of this world. We should
be teaching the lost. Have mercy on us dear God. Help us to consider our
ways and repent.
We Rob God Of Our Offerings
Finally , we do indeed rob God
of our offerings, not giving as we are prospered. (Mal 3; 1Cor 16 ) We
spend the money that God has given us on houses, cars, eating out, clothing
to excess , etc.. We don’t have anything left to give God, or to help the
needy. If we would but trust God, He would open up the windows of heaven
and pour out a blessing that we could not contain. (Mal 3 : Eph 3:20 )
Dearest Lord God , please forgive us
and help us to do better.
